New York Sightseeing - New York offers so many excellent choices for sightseeing so be sure to see as many attractions as you possibly can. You can do and see so much. A good piece of advice is to wear comfortable shoes so you won’t wear out your feet on your excursions and then get out there and see as much of New York as you can. You’ll be glad that you did, because New York has so many fantastic attractions. When you’re in New York one of the very first things you’ll want to do is take in a show on Broadway. Make that a priority. Then you’ll want to climb to the top of the Empire State Building and enjoy the fantastic view. What would a trip to New York be without seeing the Statute of Liberty so fit that into your itinerary, too by taking a trip on the Hudson River. Shopping of course is also a must and you’ll be amazed at the range of shops available on 5th Avenue.

With all the great things to do and see you’ll be enjoying every moment you’re in the Big Apple. New York is everything you’ve been dreaming of and more.

A visit to New York is not complete until you visit Broadway and see a show or two. A must do when you’re in New York. You should check out what’s on during your visit and then see if you can get tickets. You might also try the half price ticket booth in Times Square on the day of performance for left over tickets and returned tickets.

Empire State Building

Climb to the top of the Empire State Building when you’re in New York and admire the wonderful view from the top. Lots of waiting in line for this attraction but well worth it when you eventually make it. Lifts whisk you to the various viewing levels and for those who like a challenge you can walk up the last ten flights or so! On top you’ll find a gift shop.

A trip to New York is not complete until you see the Statute of Liberty. Seeing our nations symbol of freedom is a highlight for millions of visitors. For a cheapie experience, take a return trip on the Staten Island ferry - great and unusual views of New York, the bridges, Manhattan, etc plus a nice lazy interlude from your sightseeing trekking.

Times Square is another place you’ll want to see while you’re in New York. Lots of great things to see there. Go at night at least once during your visit, to enjoy the display of neon signs and take a stroll down Broadway.

When you’re visiting New York City for an interesting outing, check out the New York Stock Exchange. The hustle and bustle will leave you bewildered. There’s a viewing gallery and you need to go in the earlier part of the day.

Chinatown

Get over to Chinatown for some great ethnic foods and interesting people. You’ll just love the culture of this part of New York and it’s a nice area to stroll around.

On your trip to New York Ellis Island should be one of your priorities while you’re there. It will be worth your while to see where so many entered our country.

World Trade Center Memorial

At the World Trade Center Memorial you can remember the victims of 9-11-2001 terrorst attack. Please visit to pay your respect for all of them. You can also see the progress made in rebuilding and the new subway station.

Another place to visit while you’re in New York is Central Park. Plan to spend some relaxing time there or a more energetic interlude. This is joggers’ paradise and there are lots of activities such as boating, cycling, etc.

Another fine place to visit while in New York is the Rockefeller Center with its many shopping offerings and oppulent décor. And you do want to be able to say you did visit it during your trip.
